I took one last look at the massive dead Zombie, that was my neighbors wife and stepped inside his home after he did. We had about 30n seconds and the house would be full of Zombies. So we did what was most important! Picked up every gun and ammo that we could carry in a big duffel bag and ran out the back door…
Now this guy had some guns and ammo and I was very thankful after the first few minutes of running. He also had a handful of grenades and as we walked out the back door of his house he tossed two of them inside the house and we ran…
Now let me tell you, Zombie parts everywhere as soon as those grenades went off. I remember that I discovered that a Zombie head removed from the body is not dead and could be still very dangerous if he can bite you. After the grenades went off, I was knocked flat by the concussion and when my vision focused again, I had a jaw snapping Zombie head about 4 inches from my face. He had a real bad attitude and being dismembered from his head, did not stop him from trying to eat me…
I also learned that tossing a grenade like that is not smart…
Mister neighbor guy was laying face down with a wood spike stuck out the back of his head and he was rather dead…
I grabbed his guns and ammo and my guns and ammo and ran for safety. In this case it was an old Catholic Church. It had huge doors and they bolted solid from inside. I entered the church and too my surprise there was not a soul inside. I slammed the huge doors shut, just as a horde of Zombies made it too the stairs to the church. I ran and bolted all door that I found and then went to the upper area of the church, so that I could look out over the town…
That is when I saw others on the roofs all over town. So I knew I was not alone, but it looked like maybe only 10 or 12 were left of us humans…
I saw rain clouds in the horizon and knew that would be the chance to get to help others and it looked like the church would be a good place to hold out until we could figure out what to do…
Soon it rained and all the Zombies true to what happened the other night. Stopped ant stared at the rain. Kinda stupid, but also kinda a really good thing. I could now move freely and not have to fight, every step of the way…
Too make short work of what happened next, we all got together and stayed at the church. We gathered all the food we could find from the stores and all the guns and ammo we could find also. It rained for two days and when that last drop fell from the sky. We slammed the church doors shut and then as the Zombies reactivated, we sniped them from the bell tower of the church…
After a few weeks of shooting Zombies and watching the crows eat the remains, we were able to start going out and cleaning up the mess of bodies. Then as soon as we got our little town cleaned up, it seems that other towns had done the same as us…
To keep thing short for this part, we had more women than men and that seemed to be true as far as we could tell all over the country. We put in a semblance of a government and started to win the battle against the Zombies…
Then something happened and we knew we were in trouble…
Out of the waters of the ocean came thousands of Zombies. The Australian Zombies were coming to feast on us New Zealanders…
You can imagine the carnage as hundreds of thousands of these underwater Zombies came walking upon our shores. Never dreamed that a Zombie would be able to walk under the water and come up somewhere else in the world. Damn Zombies…
Well that prompted the building of a wall around New Zealand and fences where walls could not easily be built. We had help in the fact that New Zealand’s coast is very full of cliffs! That gave us time to build and kill…
I have to tell you that a Zombie never sleeps and never rests. He just keeps going and sooner or later he would clamber to the top of the cliff he was trying to get up. It was like a relentless siege on a castle. Except they never rested and there was millions and millions of them…
Now while we were killing many more of them than they killed of us! That really did not matter to them. We loose one and that was one that never was replaced. They lost one and twenty walked out of the water to replace them. The beaches were sardine packed with Zombies as they tried to find a way to get to us…
I seriously doubted my beliefs in god at times and I know that I have been mentally altered by all that has happened. When we started to see Zombies from India, I thought I would go nuts. I kept it together and just killed and killed Zombies…
So like I said when I met Stryker. I was working on the fence and Stryker appeared from nowhere. Maybe he gave me back my feelings that god is watching over us, because I know he has something to do with angles and stuff. He just appeared from nowhere and that just does not happen…
I am done with my story as I have to go and shoot some Zombies. We now have Zombies from China walking up on our beaches. We found out that there is a slip stream of high speed water that is an ocean current. Once a Zombie gets in that current he is whisked speedily towards us and comes up on our shore. It makes for great weather and lots of rain, but it also brings millions of Zombies…
See you later and I hope to see Stryker again someday…
